什么是剑桥英语五级考试？

　　剑桥英语五级考试(CEQ)是英国剑桥大学考试委员会根据欧洲委员会制定的语言教学纲要设计的英语作为外国语的五级系列考试。中国教育部考试中心和英国剑桥大学考试委员会合作，于1996年引进英语入门考试(Key English Test，简称KET)和初级英语考试(Preliminary Test，简称PET)，于1999年引进第一英语证书考试(First Certificatein English，简称FCE)。这三项考试分别是五级证书考试中的第一、第二和第三级。该系列考试是一种对考生的英语听、说、读、写能力进行考查的水平考试，对成绩合格者提供由英国剑桥大学考试委员会颁发的成绩合格证书。

　　KET考试对应欧洲语言框架(CEFR)的A2级别，通过该考试的考生具备以下能力：

　　1.能够理解并进行基础的英语表达。

　　2.能够用英文流利介绍自己，并在特定话题中回答问题。

　　3.能与母语为英语的国家的公民进行日常话题的交流。

　　4.会写简短的英语便条、留言条、公函。
